Concert-ready in record time - uncompromisingly good action maintenance

Action revision

Steinway concert grand

Masterclass

The masterclass for fast, precise and professional maintenance in demanding situations

This seminar deals with the second most difficult task for us piano makers in after sales and concert service. The Steinway grand piano action revision. Usually done once a year.

All the work has to be done in a very short time, minor repairs have to be carried out, playing noises and other problems have to be eliminated. The demands are high and time is always too short. It is essential to concentrate on the essentials.

There is almost no such training available. I think it is important for piano makers to be prepared for their customer service tasks.

My seminar covers focus, optimal resource allocation, eliminating typical playing noises in the piano action and trap work or lyre system, and typical changes to a customer's Steinway grand piano. And, of course, how the intonation techniques differ from the intonation of new hammer heads.

Currently I can offer this seminar in a concert hall in Portugal.
